server.cfg generator for FiveM
Fill in the form and get a clean, commented server.cfg, ready to launch. Nothing is sent to our servers: the file is generated in your browser, and your licence key and RCON password never leave your computer. The file works on a managed server as well as on a VPS with the Pterodactyl panel that you run yourself.
All you need now is the server. Our FiveM servers are delivered ready for this file, with Anti-DDoS included and hosting in France.
See FiveM plansWhat each setting does
| Directive | Purpose |
|---|---|
endpoint_add_tcp and endpoint_add_udp | The two listening ports. Both are required: without UDP, players connect and are then kicked. |
sv_licenseKey | Your Cfx.re key, linked to the server's IP address. Without it, the server refuses to start. |
onesync | The modern synchronisation system. Essential beyond 32 players, and required by most recent scripts. |
sv_maxClients | The number of slots. Beyond 48, you need a Cfx.re subscription (Element Club). |
add_principal | Gives administrator rights to a specific identifier: licence, Discord or Steam. |
rcon_password | Remote console. Left blank here: the protocol is not encrypted, and txAdmin does the job better. |
sv_scriptHookAllowed | Allows client-side modifications. Leave at 0 on a public server. |
./run.sh +exec server.cfg, or let txAdmin handle it. The full procedure is in our guide to installing a FiveM server on a VPS.What you need to know
