How much RAM and vCPU for your server?
Enter your game, the number of players and what you plan to install: the tool works out the memory, cores and disk you need, explains where each figure comes from, then shows the matching plan. Prices come live from our catalogue. The result also indicates the matching VPS range if you prefer to host it yourself.
How these figures are calculated
No calculator replaces a measurement on your own server: two FiveM servers with the same number of players can use up to three times as much depending on the quality of their scripts. The rules below start from consumption observed on our machines and include a safety margin.
| Game | Base | Per player | What weighs the most |
|---|---|---|---|
| FiveM | 2 GB | +80 MB | The roleplay framework and the number of resources: a complete ESX or QBCore server starts at 6 GB before the first player. |
| Minecraft | 1.5 GB | +70 MB | View distance, world pre-generation and mods: a modpack needs 3 to 6 GB more than a standard server. |
| Rust | 4 GB | +60 MB | Map size and above all player buildings, which make memory grow until the next wipe. |
| Nova Life | 2 GB | +70 MB | Job scripts and the character database. |
On the processor side, all these games run their main loop on a single core: frequency matters more than the number of cores. Extra cores serve the database, the panel and backups. For disk, allow for the game, backups and logs: Rust is by far the hungriest.
